Thank you for your comments. No photoshop at all. I have an old version of Elements, and tried just some auto levels and contrast, but it made the dark spot too dark, so I left the photo as taken.
Wow, what a cloudscape. I wonder whether much photoshop was used. Such eerie and colorful lights on those clouds.
